Cancer Producing Food to Avoid (2)

Refined Carbohydrates - A diet that's high in sugar and carbs may increase your risk of breast cancer. Many foods high in refined carbs are also high in sugar and fat, and can cause weight gain. Being overweight is a risk factor for many types of cancer, including breast cancer.

Fried Foods - A diet high in saturated fats, found in fried foods, can lead to obesity, which is associated with increased cancer risk. Avoid fried foods as much as possible, and choose fresh fruits and vegetables instead.

Alcohol - Drinking alcohol increases your risk of larynx, stomach, esophageal, liver and breast cancer. Drinking and smoking combined increases cancer risk even more. Alcohol consumption should be restricted to one drink a day for women and 2 drinks a day for men. However, women who have an increased risk of breast cancer may want to consider cutting out alcohol altogether, since having just a few drinks a week has been shown to increase breast cancer risk.
