NonToxic Cleaners For Home

You don't need to suffer strong smells from chemical cleaning agents such as strong scents of ammonia or bleach just to really say it's clean. Strong chemical cleaning agents smell can irritate your lungs and eyes.

There are non-toxic and safe sprays you can choose to consider in cleaning your home:

Sprays & Bottles:
  1. Get a plant-derived glass cleaner; - a streak-free shine without airborne chemicals. (Ex. Senneth Generation Natural Glass & Surface Cleaner.)
  2. An all-natural degreaser concentrate which is made with grapefruit seed and orange peel extracts to remove soap scums and cooking messes. You can dilute it for a required job at hand. (Ex. Biokleen All Purpose Cleaner).
  3. Use an eco-safe surface protectant, a UV blocker made for car and boat exteriors to coat a dry toilet bowl at least twice a year so that gunk slides right off. It also zaps finger-prints on stainless steel. (Ex. 303 Aerospace Protectant)
  4. A beeswax furniture polish. Use it full strength twice a year to protect and condition both finished and unfinished wood. (Ex. Howard Naturals Wood Preserver).
  5. An enzyme-based disinfectant that is used for pet stain and odor remover to sanitize tile or vinyl flooring in kitchens and baths. It's also great for carpet and upholstery. (Ex. Nature's Miracle).
Tools:
  1. Plastic paint scraper - a flexible blade that removes soap residue around faucets without scratching.
  2. Pool-ring remover - an aggregate studded polymer wand is made to remove calcium deposits on pool tile, but it whisks away rust, iron lime and hard-water deposits on porcelain sinks, tubs and toilets too.
  3. Pet hair remover . Use this to brush dust and lint from fabric blinds and lampshades. It's also used to clean window screens with no water required.
